Bug List #1

Bug List #1
   1)    Trying to listen to Spotify on the way to class and getting ads than play back to back to back. Bug exists because I haven’t spent money to buy premium and the company needs to make  money. A solution would be upgrading to premium or switching to another service.
   2)    I have a virus on my computer that sends me constant ads every 25 seconds. Its on my computer because I tried to pirate Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix from 123 Movies 2 months ago. I could fix this bug by taking my computer to a repair shop.
   3)    The Mattress I sleep on slides a lot when I sleep because its light and not connected to the frame of the bed in any way. The bug exists because there is nothing to connect the mattress to the bed. I could fix this by using rope or another material to tie the mattress to the frame.
   4)    My headphones with wires always come off in the gym when I start lifting and sweat. This bug exists because they headphones were free and aren’t of high quality. This could be fixed by purchasing better wireless headphones.
   5)    I need a key card to access my apartment complex every time I come home. Its annoying because sometimes I forget it and can’t get inside until I get let in. The bug exists because the apartment wants to be secure but could be fixed my adding a panel with a password instead.
   6)    Using my microwave to heat breakfast sandwiches. It heats up the outer edges to way hotter than the middle, so the crust is burning hot, but the interior is still a little frozen. Exists because of uneven heating patterns in the microwave and could be fixed by focusing more heat in the middle.
   7)    I always misplace my guitar picks so I can’t play with them until I buy more, but then find them a week later. This bug exists because the picks are small and easy to misplace. This could be fixed by adding a small container to the back of the guitar to hold the picks when not being used.
    8)    Using a key to open my apartment door when I’m carrying all the groceries in one trip. This is a bug because I’m determined to win and take all the groceries in a single trip. This could be fixed by using an electronic key or keeping the door unlocked.
   9)    Dandruff. This is a bug because I have dry scalp, and could be fixed by consistently using head and shoulders shampoo.
  10) Cars that turn right off the road without turning on their blinker. This is a bug because drivers are not prepared so slow down ahead of time and can’t drive as efficiently. This bug could be fixed by imprisoning all drivers who turn right without their blinker.
11) I dislike the humidity in the bathroom after I shower, even it’s not for long. This is a bug because the steam from the warm shower builds up in the small bathroom and fogs the mirror and makes it uncomfortable if I have to brush my teeth after showering. This could be fixed by installing a dehumidifier or leaving the door open.
  12) Taking my shoes off when I have friends over because they smell, even if I wash them. This exists because working out causes the shoes to smell bad after a few days. The bug could be fixed by spraying them with a cancelling odor to reduce the strength of the smell.
  13) Pollen in the spring. This is a bug to many people because the pollen from the oak trees stimulates severe allergies in some people and causes them discomfort to leave their home and even step outside. This bug could be fixed by creating a new medication similar to Clairton that works more effectively.
  14) Losing socks in the process of washing clothes. This is a bug because every time laundry is done, a single sock disappears. There’s no saying where it disappeared to, the only thing I know for sure is it’s gone. A potential solution to this bug would be to never wash socks.
  15) Burning heat at UF home games in the student section. This is a bug because the severe heat makes the game much less enjoyable and student leave early and are less interested in the game. This bug could be fixed by installing a cover or partial cover on top of the stadium.
  16) Students who work at the Rec center insisting that clips must be used when benching low weight. This is a bug because they take a little bit longer to put on but serve to purpose to keep the weight on the bar at low weights. This could be fixed by loosening regulations at that gym.
  17) Connecting ethernet port to the wall or router is impossible at my apartment. This is a bug because computers without adapters cannot be plugged into the wall or into the router, meaning that the internet cannot be accessed unless it is a wired connection. This could be fixed by adding a router to the apartment.
    18) Walking from the stadium to the bars at midtown after the games. This is a bug because sometimes the walk feels very long despite it only being less than a mile. This could be fixed by having pedicabs on the road transporting people who do not wish to walk to and from the game to the bars.
   19) Cars that make the annoying beeping sound when the driver doesn’t have the seatbelt on, even if the driver is just moving your car from one parking spot to another. This is a bug because the sound is so irritating, and unnecessary if the driver is only moving the car a few meters. This could be solved by creating a way for drivers to turn the sound off.
  20) Chewing gum that loses its flavor after a few minutes. This is a bug because the gum just feels pointless after the few minutes of chewing because there is no more flavor. This could possibly be fixed by making a material that releases its flavor slowly over time.

Like many people, I had little difficulty coming up with the first 5 or 10 bugs. After those I thought for a while and was slowly able to think of one or two more before going on a streak. I think the reason it was hard to think of bugs is because most of us aren't experiencing the specific bugs at the moment of writing this. Because of this I think it would be helpful to write down the bugs as they happen to better retain when they occur.
